In:between encapsulates ten years of Hng Kong artist, Kingsley Ng’s career in the arts. For an artist, ten years is a drop in time. It marks only the start, it speaks to Ng’s learning, his refining and his becoming. But it is also about perseverance, of patience and of love. Time is a good framework to understand his journey so far. It is consistent feature in his works. Ng often makes works that uses light, technology, and sound to pursue their temporal qualities in order to capture one of his main interests – art at the intersection of our experience and the environment. At that moment, he seeks to prolong our engagemen, because in that stretched out time, we stop and reflect.

Ng works primarily in conceptual, site-specific and community-oriented projects. He crafts relationship between the work and its context through interdisciplinary media, including interactive installation, public workshop, sound and spatial design.
